I was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, in the 20th century. I’ve also lived in St. John’s; Toronto; London, Ontario; Ottawa (in the past and currently); Boston; and Kingston, Ontario.

I write, edit, podcast, volunteer, watch movies and stand-up comedy, and stay in touch with friends and family.

I am a writer, freelance editor, and podcaster. I had a long career as a professional librarian, first as a serials cataloguer at the National Library of Canada starting in 1985, and lastly as University Librarian at Carleton University from 2015 to 2019.
